    Brooklyn's Pizza is a great place to get amazing pizza and to have a great time. They are known throughout New Jersey to have some of the best pizza around. They are located in Hackensack, Ridgewood, and Edgewater. Hackensack is the better location since it doesn't get too crowded. Brooklyn's Pizza has many types of pizza. Like margarita or pepperoni pizza. They have many things to choose from their Menu.                                                                My favorite pizza is the margarita pizza because it has the right amount of amazing sauce and great fresh mozzarella cheese. The Brick oven aspect gives the pizza a great flavor and a amazing crust. There are also many appetizers like fried ravioli and mozzarella sticks. The place is owned by a family and they have another location in Edge water and Ridgewood.  

  

This is my favorite restaurant because it has amazing pizza and a great atmosphere. The reviews are great and the local people love the place. If this restaurant ever closed i would just find another pizza place since there are so many in bergen county. Brooklyn's pizza is open all week and offers times from 11;30 am to 10;30 pm

1. Why did select the sites you subscribed to?
     I selected the websites because some of them are interesting and some I like to do or watch the topics.

2. Was it easy to find feeds and subscribe to them?
     Its was easy to find the feeds and subscribe to them if you knew what topics you wanted to do.

3. Which sites were your favorite?
     My favorite sites were the hobby ones like a yankee feed or the nfl feed.

4. What else can you use RSS feeds for?
     You can use them to get current events for a paper for school.

5. How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?
     I think I will use them in the future to keep up to date with multiple things at the same time. The feeds will be great for current events and to keep up to date with sports updates.

New 20th Anniversary PlayStation

 

In honor of the PlayStation's 20th anniversary, Sony is selling a PlayStation 4 especially for fans of the original console. The special 20th anniversary edition of the PlayStation 4 is the same gray as the first PlayStation console, which was released in Japan on Dec. 3, 1994. It's also adorned with the original PlayStation logo: a red P planted atop a tricolored S. It comes with a matching gray DualShock 4 controller, with a Home button that also contains the original logo.

New Class Do Now 12/2

New class 

       I think we should have a law class because it is could to know what is right from wrong and to know how the law system works. This class would meet at 7th period for only a half year course. This class would be more hands on, go on a bunch of field trips, and have a lot of projects rather than homework. The students could practice what goes in a courtroom.
       Many speakers will also come in to speak on topics. I think this class is good to have and it will provide great info for young adults.

A wiki can be used in social studies class because the whole class can contribute to one whole document. The class could use the wiki to make great study guides and to post homework questions.

You can make the wiki during the class period by making each student make a account. You can have them make one wiki or document and share it with all the students and teacher. Each student could add topics and answers each night.

Nintendo 2DS goes crystal for retro-styled specials

Two new Nintendo 2DS' are coming out on November 21, 2014. It comes in two colors pink and blue and it has a retro design because it is transparent. The whole unit is one big device that does not fold, like the previous models. The 2DS should be a big hit and get many young kids to play games on it.

Summer Vacation 2015

North Carolina (Outer Banks)

This summer my family and all of my cousins are going on a big family vacation to North Carolina. We will probably stay in the small town of Corolla. Corolla has the nicest beach and the biggest houses on the island. There are also many shops and activities you can do on the whole island like wave running or jet skiing. Apple Pay is double charging some customers

Apple Pay is the latest and greatest to come out from Apple. Instead of having a wallet you can just use apple pay with all of your credit cards that you choose to load on. However there is one big problem with the system. Many people have reported that they have got charged twice for a purchase. The banks claim it is Apple that has the problem not the bank. Apple has yet to comment on the issue and people now may be hold back on using Apple Pay.

New iRobot system makes battlefield and law enforcement robots easier to operate

iRobot corp Thursday relieved a new upoint multi-robot controll system. It is meant for law enforcement and the military to check for explosives. The system is a tablet that offers an android app that can control any unmanned ground vehicle. The tablet is touch screen and it controls the robots steering. The new system should be very successful and save many lives. 

New Lamborghini

Lamborghini Reveals 910-hp Hybrid Asterion

The new Lamborghini Asterion LPI is the newest car Lambo to date.The car was revealed at the Paris Motor show and the car features 910 hp, which is a lot and it will make the car go very fast. The car was designed for room and comfort, rather than being uncomfortable and extremely expensive. This car is making big headlines due to the fact that it is an electric hybrid and is pushing the 1000 hp border. The engine produces 610 hp and the three batteries produce 300 hp. The car goes from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds and the top speed is 199 mph.

     An editorial is an article that presents the newspaper's opinion on an issue. Wikipedia, teachers say is a bad source for any research or any facts. The truth is 9 times out of 10 Wikipedia provides the right info for any research you need to get. Teachers claim the people who edit the articles or topics provide the wrong info. 

       Teachers do not let us use Wikipedia for any project or a source for a paper. We can use it at home if we need to look up a quick fact. I think teachers should allow us to use it now knowing that 500 classes have contributed to the info in some of Wikipedia's topics. Wikipedia is a great source and provides quick; reliable info with the click of a button.

Iphone 6 Bending and 10 Other Apple Glitches

Since the 2 new iphones have been released there have been a number of reported issues. The iphone 6 plus is said to have bent in peoples pockets. Also the new ios update that came out wednesday evening had many bugs which messed up peoples phones and they had to go back to ios 8. The iphone 6 bending issue should be fixed in the next generation iphone 6 plus.

  Mr. Maniscalco is my Biology teacher this year for 9th grade. Mr. Man is a cool teacher who knows everything there is to know about science. When I first started his class, I wanted to know more about science in general,  more about biology since I have never had the class before. I also wanted to do more experiments then I have previously done before.

Grading Procedures: Quarterly Grades:


1. All assignments are given percentage values:


a. Tests - 40 percent


b. Quizzes - 15 percent


c. Projects - 25 percent


d. Homework and Class Participation - 10 percent


e. Informal Assessments – 10 percent

To calculate your average for the quarter, average your total accumulated number grades and divide by the total possible points (this will always be available, and you can calculate your "running" average as you go through the quarter). Then, multiply by above percentage and add all categories together:

A+ = 98% - 100% C+ = 78%-79%


A = 93% - 97% C = 73%-77%


A- = 90%-92% C- = 70% - 72%


B+ = 88%-89% D = 65% - 69%

B- = 80%-82%

Why I like the class


I like the class because Mr. Man is a fun teacher and likes to crack jokes. Even though he is funny, he still teaches the class in a way that is easy to understand. Also in his class we will do many experiments like looking through a microscope to look at bacteria in water. His class should be fun and we should learn a lot this year.

In the class we use microscopes and computers to to learn more about biology and its cool things about it. The microscopes show us up close images of small objects or bacteria. They provide us with info to understand what things are made up of. The computers are just to look up basic info on any topic or fact we need

• The New 2017 Cadillac's will feature hands free driving and and not having to have your foot on the gas
• The new system will be called "Super Cruise" which will go up to 70 mph on highways and you don't need to steer 
• If there is congested traffic the car will alert you to shut off super cruise.
• New safety requirements will be put in place to ensure the drivers safety.
